You are incorrect the larger engine will always get more power gains, within reason not talking about over stroking or putting a 105mm AFM Mustang TB and port matching a mani on a focus or a honda lol... But if you would have a 65mm port matching inlet and tb outlet the 2.0 engine will produce more gains then a 1.6 More air will give you more power proven by your "Force feed it!" Which is why the 2.3 dura will see more gains then the 2.0 dura with the same bolt on....
A zx3 ses/se with a Top Speed Manifold will see more number gain vs a SVT with Top Speed manifold with in the same as a civic being a zx3. You see larger number games from stock. But even as top speed states on there Manifold for NA SVT There Vs. Stock you see a 13whp/9tq gain with just the intake and a CAI. But all this is in relations reason why a SRI/CAI show no gains for us vs the stock box with a drop in filter is because the filter was reducing filtration and the TB/Inlet was restricting the Air flow. IF you where to port the inlet and larger TB you will actualy have a gain with a CAI/SRI. Granted we might be speaking in very little numbers. But it will get more air and produce more power. But I figure you know how a NA engine functions.
