I posted something on the snow topic in another thread already, but basically, if you manage to drive off the road and aren't in immediate danger or in BF Nowhere, I will not help you back on the road. Especially if the vehicle in the ditch has 4x4. As far as I'm concerned, if I put you back on the road, you're just gonna become a hazard to someone else.
Seattle drivers have been documented by insurance agencies and personal experience to be some of the worst drivers in the US. Everyone with an 87 Subaru Outback thinks they can drive in the snow... you know what I mean?
