"tsssss" sound to me would indicate the rotor is moving/flexing under cornering loads. Typical sound of a stone stuck in a pad, worn pads, rust buildup, improperly TQ'd lugnuts, worn wheel bearing or any other loose part you may thing of attached to the wheel.
Now the fact that the traction lamp comes on, to me that points more towards a bearing issue. There is a specific 'air gap' between the Wheel Speed Sensor and the Tone Ring. This is a fixed clearance. But if a bearing is worn/loose this clearance can move/grow. I can see where this could cause a lamp to light up.
But seems that if a bearing were bad you'd notice it under other conditions.
So I'm kinda at a loss as to what exactly it can be. But the simple things are making sure everything is tight and TQ'd properly. Jack the car up and wiggle the tire from top to bottom, there should be no play at all. If there is, it points to a bearing.
Also make sure the axle stub is tight, something like 233ft/lbs IIRC.
Don't "think outside the box".
There is no box.
Do it correct, or do it twice.
