Premium fuel? All my rotaries ran on 87, so the factory manual says 91+? I'm just curious since running efficiently on low octane fuel was one of the things that was touted as an improvement when going from piston to rotary. IIRC, my 83's manual said "89 oct max", but I do remember that it ran best on the crappiest fuel.

If there's not a sticker around the gas cap, and you're not turboed- humor me and check the manual.

You don't have to, but many people on rx-8 forums say they run best on premium. I could always be wrong though, I'm still learning things every day on the car just like I did when I was new to the focus
