That, and they probably assumed that each and every ST owner would be replacing it with something stiffer anyway. Why follow the lead of other companies that have a relatively critical part like this in separate grades (tq dependent)?
Considering that many of us na folk are upgrading the RMM to the MS3, you would think that Ford could have been decent enough to let the non-tuner ST owners at least start there. Especially considering the additional 100 ft lbs stock...
I bet it sounds really good though...
