What makes you say that? What design differences that can't be overcome between the two motors make the ecoboost have more power potential? I know that the ecoboost can make more power than the duratec at first due to the turbocharger and the stronger internals that are required - that is a given. You can put a turbocharger and stronger internals in a Duratec also, maybe that still won't get you close to the ecoboost potential. Maybe the manifold in the jacket of the ecoboost is a limiting factor, maybe it isn't. I'm just curious about initial thoughts between the two motors.

I am asking a serious question out of plain curiosity and I was hoping that the guy from Cobb would have an opinion based off of his looking at the ST motor.
