Thinking this is over your head and you should bring it in to be diagnosed but,
Primes - When the key is turned to the On position power is sent to the fuel pump, it is on until fuel pressure reaches ~40psi, then turns off. This happens, or should, every time the key is turned form off to the on position.
It's not something you can buy or replace.
