If everyone was so good with a wrench and knew exactly how to do these things, we wouldn't need these shops. A body shop should have workers competent enough to remove the door themselves or just use the whole car as a reference to match the paint, or use a specific area to match the area they're painting, and be competent enough to blend it where it meets another panel with slightly off color.
Note that I say *SHOULD* as Fine Line Collision here in Vero Beach, FL couldn't get my last car right after 4 tries.
Also note he is in Bangkok Thialand....... May be different access to paint.
