Every so often (at low speeds and low engine RPM) I hear the noise from the clutches that I believe people are referring to as the "grinding noise". Otherwise, I have no problems whatsoever.
I'm not sure if a leaking oil seal makes it worse but I have read posts from some folks that have had their clutches replaced and they say that the grinding noise is gone.
The point of my previous reply is that the "grinding noise" is not something related to the transmission "box" itself so changing the oil more frequently is probably not necessary or helpful.
