Them money you save by buying the cheapest focus you find, is not really saved money. It is just money you get to spend later on parts.
I am not a big fan of having my woman drive a car that I need to repair frequently. I am a mechanic, it's not that the labor or such is a hassle, it just makes the ownership experience less satisfying for the woman when the car needs to be serviced frequently. They don't like that, they will mistreat the car because it "sucks" and they don't trust it, then they don't tell you about the little problems until they become big problems....
