Camaros are a waste of money period. The resale valve is less the half the retail. Had a co-worker at work buy one when they first came out. Paid 40k for it. he traded it in for a ram 2 yrs later with less than 2000 miles on it they gave him 14 as trade in. But it was worthless in the winter and he wanted 4x4. the car was quick but not worth the hype, and extremely uncomfotable on long drives. Yes it was a SS candy red with black hood strips.
