Cooling Fan Temperature Set Point

I have a 2000 SPI that dropped a valve seat and has since been repaired. The cooling fans operate when the AC is on and also when the ECT is disconnected. The fans have not operated when the car is running and the AC is off. So far the highest engine temperature that I have seen while in diagnostic mode with the AC off has been 96 degrees C. I guess this would be expected if 96 degrees C does not exceed the temperature required to switch the fans on. Does anyone know what the set point temperature would be (in degrees C) in diagnostic mode to turn the fans on if the system is operating correctly?
