So it is 100% some leak in the hydraulic device which operates the clutch
A rebuild or new one will do.

I will certainly look into this ASAP. Can you recommend a good resource (Haynes, Chilton, web etc.) that might help me better understand the clutch system? I have done virtually no work on this car and I suspect with the miles racking up on it I will be more and more involved with it.
