Here's some pics of what i've found on the svt. There was coolant in the oil. Coolant was also in the hot side piping, intercooler, cold side piping, intake manifold, all four cylinders and the exhaust manifold. Timing was perfect.
And finally, i found this moving around in the coolant ports of the turbo. Didn't seem like much until i pulled it out. Not sure if it has anything to do with the engine damage but it does concern me that something broke off in my turbo. Can't tell if it's weld slag or something from the casting when turbo was made.
E-Gads Man! Have you run any water through the coolant ports of the turbo to see if any leaks out of the hot and cold sides and even the oil return. I cant believe that slug was inside the passage!!!
Have you been in contact with the shop that installed the CHRA?
I wonder what they think about the potential cracking and damage of the coolant passages.
