There is a cure for all that

There is no smell if the cell is installed properly and vented out side the car
If you use the well cell the only space you loose in the spare tire hole
Done properly the car can be filled from the existing filler
Safety use a bladdered tank and you cell will be safer then the stock tank

If you choose not to do a fuel cell then just install the pump, put holes in the cannister , you dont need the hanger to do the 3/8 full tank of fuel but you could loose an engine it has been done

My opinion is you wanting 500HP , you spent all the money , time , why not finish it right
