That Purolator filter looks pretty good. How much was that? I installed a FL842 w/ no problems= fit fits & has a bigger diameter & is shorter than the 400.
At pepboys it's $9.99 .. might be cheaper at walmart. It features an anti-drainback valve to reduce dry starting. So far it fit nice and feels solid and it's nice that it's made specifically for synthetic oils.
A few years ago, I went to the gym for several months and lost 30 pounds. That must be worth about 1% more fuel economy in the city.
