Yes but even though the previous Escape was a true crossover it still took true SUV tires, like Continental CrossContact LX or Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza. Both of which I had on my Escapes. The gentleman has a point that the new Escape, which weighs roughly the same and has the same payload / tow ratings, has switched to true car tires for some reason.
