Im new to this site but not modding everything i own. two days after i traded my jeep in for 2012 focus se i took out the headlights, preheted the oven for 250 degrees and 15 to 20 minutes later woohoo the urethane is warm enought to seperate from the housing
making sure NOT to touch the any of the chrome nor the inside of the clear piece. the chrome inner piece is two parts i painted the outer chrome piece flat black, but with the head light fully disassembled like this l.e.d. or any other cool idea can come into play. Now for the down fall,... for some damn reason ,pardon my language ford decided to use some other sort of an urethane , i turned the oven to 320 degrees for 25 minutes to reseal , but failed. never happened before , its like the urethane turned to hard plastic. so lucky for me, i work for an auto glass company and scraped out all the old and resealed it with u-418 . looks great just a pain. i have pics but like i said new to this site
