Apparently they're required to use manual shifting mode to some extent if so equipped, which reduces mileage slightly in this car.

More proof that today's automatics can better choose gears for economy than a human ever could????

It's still unclear why the select shift cars' ratings were increased by one to match the non select shift cars somewhere around the Job 2 date.
