So here is the deal. My lady and I just recently had a beautiful little girl. My girlfriend owns a 09 Kia rio.... Base model, no power locks, windows or anything. We owe way less than what it's worth. I have never bought a brand new car but have purchased from a dealer so I would like it if somebody who is not a salesman trying to breath down my neck can enlighten me on how things may vary.
The focus is more roomy on the inside. The convenience of power doors and locks is a huge plus because getting a newborn in and out of a car where you have to constantly unlock, lock, roll the window down when it's hot, roll it back up because it rains 30 seconds later (it's Washington) can be quite the chore.
Would you guys reccomend trading it in or trying to sell it ourselves? She also really likes the Mazda3. I think the focus looks wayyyy better. Could you guys help me compare and contrast the similarities and differences between them. Another thing to add, she wants an auto tranny.
I know I asked a lot of questions but you guys are the shiz and I know you can help. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
