I bought a 02 ZX3(two door with hatch) in winter with 145k miles. I've had all the usual suspects, and have got a good running car now. I'll list some common failure items in no particular order:
Blower resistor pack(only works on '4'), motor mounts(vibration), ign lock asm, fuel pump, thermostat housing(100% failures), rad fan relay, valve cover gasket leaks, suspension/sway bar bushings.
Others will chime in. No info on the auto trans, I have a stick.
