I've had no problem with all the bulbs I bought from them (Super Bright LEDs). Off the top of my head I'm not familiar with the type of bulb used for the 1st gen Focus. Sometimes a "spotlight" style bulb with the LED at the end is better, sometimes a bulb that has LEDs wrapped around the circumference of the bulb is better. Depends on the way the bulb is mounted and housed on the car. On the van and my GTO, I used the type of bulb that has one LED on the end, and four others around the bulb, so you sort of get a rough 360 degrees of light.
Oh, looks like from the link above it uses the festoon bulbs. IIRC Superbrightleds.com has several varieties of that kind, some of them have smaller, lower-powered LEDs on them. You want the ones that have the biggest and brightest mounted to them.
The washer fluid is NOT fine!
