I've never listened to any CDs in my car since I've got all my music on my iPhone. The sync feature is pretty neat. If you've got music on an ipod or a phone, you can connect to your sync system via bluetooth, usb, or auxillary port. You can even tell it to play specific songs/artists!
I do believe those are spots for cups/bottles on the door panels.
I'm not an expert on painting interior trim pieces...did the primary coat get scratched off (bare plastic color)?
I'm sure others will help chime in and give you some good advice and tips!
