Like Magus said, get a new one. They are cheap enough and you won't have the cracking around the new repair welds............ask me how I know this. You might want to check the tranny mount, under the car back of tranny towards firewall, as well. These are notorious for going out, and the header suffers the brunt of the blow. CFM has the "dogbone" mount for cheap. Welcome and enjoy the ride!!!!
