remember in the heat that most of the country is having right now combined with sitting around idling in the city (no airflow to radiator) that things will get hot faster than normal. if it's only doing it in the city and not on the highway or what maintaining a decent speed then it could be that. maybe go with a lower temp thermostat and check sensors. if it does start to heat up, roll the windows down and turn on the heater. may be uncomfortable, but will help pull some heat from the motor.
