In Ontario Canada, it's illegal to tint your taillights at all.. As I've gotten a $110 ticket for it. Then again its all up to the cops discretion. He was being a donkey because I passed him while he was stopped with another ticket getter, and I down shifted to slow down. Then proceeded to tell me that you didn't downshift to slow down.. Oh wells! Just thought I'd share.
