Auto or manual gearbox?
If you plant the pedal immediately after braking or coasting for some time the gearbox will have to downshift several times before you're in a gear appropriate to accelerate in...especially if you're really planting the pedal. If you going 35 or over you'll likely be in sixth, and third would be about the highest gear you'd want if you want to accelerate with any authority. It's likely that the gearbox hasn't shifted into third until you're already through the corner.
The solution is to either accelerate sooner in anticipation of this, or use the select shift feature if you have it to keep the gearbox in an appropriate gear throughout the turn.
