i'd like to cut the bottom of the bumper out a little to open up the bottom 3 1/2 fins on the intercooler. Though I don't want it to look horrible. What did you use to finish off the edges. Your turned out great.

It's just cheap, black plastic, self-adhesive auto door protective trim but it worked just fine.

After about a year a thin layer of clear plastic will flake off, and when it does all off it basically brushes off. Still shiny black underneath.
Nice job zeroing in on the issue and making a shield for the alternator.
