After finishing up tonight we started the car and there is a vacuum leak on the brake booster vacuum line where it goes into the intake. The intake is a 2000 smooth seam runner which I got because it is supposed to flow better than the raised seam runner intake after 2000. My brake booster vacuum line will not go all the way into the hole on the 2000 intake. It goes in farther on the 01 intake. I found mentions of a "revised brake booster vacuum line" on the internet. I guess they revised the line due to low vacuum on the brake booster. Is this why my brake booster vacuum line does not go in all the way? Maybe I have the revised line and need the original? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
