Electronic Break Distribution?

Hey guys, I'm just wondering if anyone can shine light on the EBD system that is (or may not be) in our Focuses? I have done some searching on the forums and there appears to be little/no info on it. There are mixed views on if Focuses even have EBD. Is it real life - or myth? Is it integrated into the ABS? Is it true you can disconnect a rear wheel speed sensor to disable ABS and retain EBD?

The reason I bring it up is that I'm swapping a built D2.3 (and wiring harness) into my SVT rally car. The duratec donor car didn't have ABS so I feel like I'll have to use part of my old SVT wiring harness to retain the ABS and EBD. When I've tested the car with ABS disabled it has too much rear break bias so that is why I have left the ABS intact.

Thanks for the help!

edit: I meant "brake distribution"
