Buy another pair and trim them to the contours of the body.
Funny, I thought of exactly that.
Just big enough to cover the holes, and would still provide protection.
After all, I'm still living off a dirt road all year as it is.
We'll just see what happens come spring time, and I pull them off.

I'd be terrified of drilling into my car though, especially on those crazy narrow areas there...
Yep. Don't have any coffee for at least 2 days before doing this.
Or you could just take them off and put the screws back in to hide the holes.
