The real reason I "need" all this storage is for more practical reasons. I got sick of having the tool box and booster pack sliding all over the trunk and I never have more than one person in the back seat. Furthermore, one of my jobs is as a grounds keeper for a privately owned public facility so I have to have most of my own tools with me. I've accidentally left some tools there and I haven't seen them since so I don't trust leaving anything there when I can help it. I have to work out of my car so it's much better to have everything I need hidden away until I want it.

A second reason is I couldn't have a sub box taking up valuable space in the back so I kind of built everything around that. Plus, vacuuming leaves, twigs and dirt out of carpets isn't fun.
