If a bar allows a drunk to leave the bar then that bar is liable for any and everything that happens as a result of that person being drunk. A bar I worked at had a drunk leave and killed someone in a drunk driving incident and the bar was hit with a heavy HEAVY fine. If someone is too drunk to drive the bar MUST call for and pay for a cab. It's in the law books.
