For folks who are wondering about the performance of the car on glare ice, I strongly suspect you will have to switch off the traction control, or you will be stuck with absolutely no throttle response. This is selectable via the steering wheel controls, on your interactive display / message centre (I believe). Note that the SE, SEL, and Titanium have this capability. The S does not, due to the lack of steering wheel controls.
