To do hatch tails with these you need to take the outer housing off. Otherwise you'd have to cut a huge hole in back to fit these. Then you'd have to get the angle right on them since hatch tails sit an angle on the car. Also the area inside the hatch tails may not be large enough to fit these(maybe a smaller size). Most people just swap in high output led bulbs or panels. Or for about $150-$275 you can buy led hatch tails. At least 1/2 dozen styles out there. It is cool to do something unique though. If you get a set of hatch tails Jeremy then you can experiment. Looking forward to getting to see your car in person with your new tails :)
