I'm getting better as I learn the maps. I've never been super awesome at MP, though. It's definitely a lot of fun. They need to fix some issues, though. Sometimes people take no damage at all. Even from a knife to the face or point blank range gunfire.
They seem to have fixed the respawn at least, before the patch I got into the routine of doing a spin once I spawned because I died so many times from spawning right next to the enemy.
I like the close quarters tight maps vs. the wide open ones. I have a hard time keeping track of my surroundings and don't do very well.
