Hi jake1,
As you can see from the site, the majority of posters are very pleased with the Focus. There are some who had early concerns, and they have smoothed out as the Focus learned the shifting strategy. Others are resolved with a software update, and those with lingering issues are escalated. You are correct, though, I cannot fix the car myself.
