My prior car, a Ford Contour SVT I could remove the back seat bottom to move stuff.
I carried a new 42" plasma that way.
So I am glad to know i could remove the rear seats on the Focus. ANdthat the reaar seat tops lay flat. Cool.
I woulder if i just took out the bolts and popped the seat bottom, Would it stay in place if i just left it in the car? without being bolted down?
My Contour, once i popped the rear seat off the clips, I never was able to reconnect them properly. So the rear seat bottom just laid in place. But it NEVER was an issue.
Also interesting that the seat tops can unbolt.
