About to start today, actually. Planning on doing the "lean" version, since I care more about cardio and toning than building muscle. Currently 6'0" 175 lbs, but about 20% is body fat :/

That's actually not what P90X is, if you read the booklets. I'm glad it's working for you, but they make it very clear that it's for people who are already somewhat fit, and need a super hardcore workout to take it that next step. You can definitely follow P90X to bulk up, you just have to keep increasing your weights. I'm not going to argue with your results, though, since those speak louder than anything.
