12:1 is still easily boostable. the Compression ratio is not the end all say all. w/ the DI, the fuel burn is much more even and keeps the temps on the piston crown much cooler. plus the fueling system can keep up and you don't have to worry about boost pressures. its all in the tune. but don't be surprised to see 15 psi out of the gate on these. granted, lowering CR will help w/ boost. but just like the SVT at 10.2:1 that was high for its type of injection. 12:1 w/ VCT and GDI will be done safely and effectively!
