The problems continued so I called the service department on June 16th and was told that that they had been receiving "a lot of communication from Ford about this issue in the new transmissions". And that it could take anywhere from "1,000 to 2,000 miles to break it in". And now that our newest problem with the grinding of gears in between shifting has arose, it goes back in on June 21st.
At this point I am very disappointed in Ford overall, not only in their service and the way I have been treated in the dealership locally, but as a corporation to release this product to new car buyers and not explain to their purchasers about these possible defects.

Sorry for the rant, but I want to share my ford experience.
