i've driven a fully prepped DS colbalt SS turbo, and IMO it's easier to get the svt to rotate. rotating a fwd car is key.
and definitely the colbalt SS would beat the svt focus on a road course. but turbo the svt and i'd be singing a different tune.

Yeah, isn't the Cobalt Supercharged? And given the short course the cobalt doesn't really have room to really take advantage of the extra power. That's where driver skill is clearly at play in this case. Because no matter what you need to take those corners at around the same speed and since there's not a lot of straights the power in this case is not an advantage.
