I've had our 5-door SE for a week now, and it has just over 400 miles on the odometer. We bought it with 108 miles, as it was a dealer-located car for us. Was averaging 25.6mpg on the first tank, which was mostly city. I filled up last night (9.7 gallons!) after the low fuel light came on. I reset the average at the gas station and today I am getting 29.8 mpg's.
The Focus replaced our 2005 Explorer XLT 4x4, which was averaging only 14 mpg's around town. I'm really loving the Focus now...
