yeah, its just the corporation tryin to keep the man down! I noticed that when I was installing an aftermarket gauge. Being the first time, I was carfully HAMMERING everything I could to get it open. I felt like that monkey in space odysey 2000. The clear front lens will need some de-gluing but everything else seemed clip on/off rather easily. Thanks for the note & I'll remind myself when I want a bezel in my dash
