I used to have one and actually wanted to swap that into my focus before i got the svt swap but the tranny was shot and dad wanted the car gone.
Actually, the Mark VIII's FN10 platform is the successor of the Thunderchicken's MN12 platform, just 5 inches longer and 4 inches wider (perverted minds, go to work! lol). The core supports and chassis were the same. I have a radiator from a '94 Mark VIII (FN10 platform) in my '93 Mustang (fox platform, cousin to the MN12) and the supports and brackets are all the same. Also, the Mark VIII had the same IRS as the Thunderchicken. Also, the Mark VIII was actually lighter than the Mark VII and Thunderbird weighing in at 3750lbs.
