Well, there is a lot of thought in this idea.

Typically, as old racers will tell you: FWD cars must grip in the front and rotate in the rear. Since the front wheels have to do both turning and acceleraing/braking at the same time, the maximum grip will be necessary.

BUT, since its a mcstrut car, there may be a trade off point. Some people say no, others say yes. For example, a very well known fwd autox source is here citing the smaller front bar: http://farnorthracing.com/autocross_secrets10.html. Here is talks about the proper FWD car autox setup and the KEY tradoff.

It will definitly be course dependent. The local series will be tighter with less speed and more sharp turns than the National Tour events, so there may need to be a change between the two.

IDEALLY would be a front bar adjustable between 19-21. Does this exist?
