according to the readings we took from the factory pistons and the new ones with the digital micrometer...they appear the same...
but to be honest, the set that came in before this one "appeared" the same but when put in the block and moved to TDC we found the problem... they were 2 thousandths of an inch off which we tried again to mic when we pulled them out and you really couldn't "see" it because the old piston is a dome and the new is a flat dish so its hard to make the comparison between them...
i've kept all the spec sheets on the pistons when they come in and this last set does show the the piston pin "center" was moved up 3 thousandths of an inch which should lower the piston height by the same...
i guess the "real" test will be actually putting them on the rods and putting them in the block and see how they move through a rotation once again...
