I just cut it out, fitted in some pieces of aluminum, like so.
Filled it up with bondo, shaped it and painted. I had to repeat this part three separate times.
Shaping the bondo is what will push you over the edge. Mine still needs some work, but I'm just not willing to get into it again.
Man... I wish i had that "patience" thing you said or else I would def. do this! hahaha
I will probably have my friends help me with this. They work in a mustang restoration shop and they have a lot of bodywork experience so thanks for the help man! I really hope i can get this done because it looks soo much better imo.
