May I chime in with something I found out from a specialized licenced tranny builder. Since my car is still driving ok I haven't really changed anything yet (see prevous post).
Spoke to mechanic and he stated that there might be another ''small'' isue I didn't now about. The gear rings from a Focus & Mazda atx are the same ONLY that the Mazda one's are a far BETTER quality then the Focus one's. The Focus gear rings have a tendency to wear out over time. They have seen that problem often at their shop and just replace those rings with Mazda one's.
I inquired at Lentech and they told me that if that is the issue, NO solenoid or V-body exchange will solve that issue untill you replace those gear rings.
