where to buy?

Hi,

This is an excellent thread, so thanks to the OP. I'm yet another with the intermittent wiper problem. When I click down to wipe once and let go I end up with the wipers halfway up the screen.

What I'd like to know is where I can easily get hold of this relay, or one that will do the job?

MMCCLUSK2 gives p/n

F57B-14B192-AA

I assume it's a replacement for the F5TZ-14N089-B

and Warren914 gives the details at Newark electronics

These relays list for $3.60 each at Newark Electronics.
Part number CM1-12V

the spec for that relay from Newark is:

Automotive Relay
Coil Voltage VDC Nom:12V
Coil Resistance:96ohm
No. of Poles:1
Contacts:SPDT
Relay Mounting:Plug In
Carry Current:20A
Coil Power VDC:1.5W
Coil Voltage DC Max:12V
Relay Terminals:Quick Connect RoHS Compliant: Yes

does anyone know where in the UK you can get one cheaply?

Maplin have one at http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=6436

This is an SPCO and spec seems ok. Single pole changeover (SPCO) relays have five tags.

Any ideas if this one's ok, or where else I'd get one?

Many thanks
David
